What is CarryKind?
CarryKind is a place where people write kind messages for strangers, somewhere in the world.
Are these messages written by real people?
Yes. Messages on CarryKind are submitted by real people. Some messages include a nickname and country when available.
What should I write?
Write something simple, honest, and kind. Think of words you once needed to hear, and write them for someone else.
Does my message need to be perfect?
No. One sentence is enough. It doesn't have to be perfect — it just has to be kind.
Will someone really see my message?
If approved, your message may appear on CarryKind and be read by someone, somewhere in the world.
Can I receive a message?
Yes. You can receive a random public message from someone who wanted to share a little kindness.
Can I choose the message?
No. The surprise is part of the experience. Messages are selected from the approved public message pool.
Are the messages reviewed?
Yes. Messages may be reviewed automatically or manually before or after they appear on CarryKind.
Can I ask to remove a message?
Yes. If you believe a public message should be removed, please contact us through the Contact page.
Why do some messages show a country?
We may show the country based on where a message was submitted from. We do not show full IP addresses or personal contact information.
Can I leave my name?
Yes, you can leave a name or nickname, but it is optional.
Will my email be shown?
No. Your email will never be shown publicly.
Will my email be public?
No. Email addresses are not shown publicly.
What does "Keep this message" mean?
It means you're interested in saving a message that feels meaningful to you. We're exploring ways to help people keep meaningful messages in the future.
Do I need to pay to keep a message right now?
No. Right now, you can join the waitlist. We'll let you know if this option becomes available.
Will my email be shown publicly?
No. Your email is only used for the waitlist and will not be shown publicly.
Can I write a message without buying anything?
Yes. CarryKind is centered on sharing kind words. Buying is not required to write or receive a message.
What about the shop?
The shop is part of the MVP test flow and may support future ways to carry, gift, and keep meaningful messages. It is not the core of CarryKind right now.
